On February 2nd, Jinshi Data reported that in the early morning of February 2nd local time, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a targeted missile attack on a boarding school in Sujia City, Kursk Oblast, Russia on February 1st. The Russian air defense system detected that the missile was launched from the direction of Sumy Oblast, Ukraine. Hinchetai, the acting governor of Kursk Oblast, Russia, stated on social media in the early morning of February 2nd that the attacked building was the teaching building of the Sujia boarding school, and there is no exact information on the number of casualties. Ukraine has no response to this at present.
