They also help ensure that the advertisements you encounter online are more relevant to your interests, and enable Gate.io to identify your specific preferences. There are different types of cookies (without limitation), and we will explain them in Annex 1 in this document.

   1. 4.1 Some of the cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies we utilize are provided by third-party companies (third-party cookies). These technologies help us gather web analytics and insights about our websites, which may also be used for measuring services and targeting advertisements.

5. How do we manage Cookies and tracking technologies?

   1. 5.1 If you prefer not to use cookies or similar tracking technologies, you can manage your preferences through our cookie settings center. To remove cookies already stored on your device, you can do so via your browser's settings.
   2. 5.2 If you'd like to prevent future cookies from being placed on your device, you can adjust your preferences in our cookie settings center.    3. 6.3 Mobile Devices. To clear cookies stored on your mobile device, follow the steps below. Please note that blocking cookies may prevent some websites, services, and features from functioning properly or working as intended.
      • For Apple Devices: (a) Clear browsing history and cookies by going to Settings > Safari >Clear Historyand Website Data. (b) To delete cookies but keep your browsing history, go to Settings >Safari >Advanced > Website Data > Remove All Website Data. (c) To block cookies, go to Settings > Safari > Block All Cookies.
      • For Android Devices: (a) Use the Chrome app and go to Settings > Privacy > Clear browsing data>Cookies, media licenses, and site data > Clear data. (b) To allow or block cookies, go to Chrome App > Settings > Site Settings >Cookies.
   4. 6.4 Some internet browsers, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari, have a "Do Not Track"(DNT) signal feature. However, since there is no standardized guidance for DNT signals, our sites currently do not process or respond to such signals.
