BlackRock CEO Larry Fink expressed his confidence in the potential of Bitcoin, suggesting that if it is widely adopted as a protection against economic and political instability, it could reach $700,000.

In a recent interview, Fink highlighted the appeal of Bitcoin as an international-based tool that could provide protection against the devaluation of currency and geopolitical uncertainties.

Fink said, “If you are afraid of your currency losing value or your country's economic and political stability, Bitcoin can overcome these local fears.”

The CEO who manages the world's largest asset manager, stated that he believes in the financial benefit of Bitcoin as a financial instrument and highlighted its potential to provide protection against traditional assets such as securities or stocks. He shared a meeting with a sovereign wealth fund that is exploring the possibility of allocating 2% to 5% of their portfolios to Bitcoin.

According to Fink, if such allocations become widespread among institutional investors, Bitcoin's price could rise. "If everyone embraces this conversation, the price will be $500,000, $600,000, $700,000 per Bitcoin," Fink said, noting that he is not actively promoting BTC.
