Han Gongtiao said that the military and police approved his entry into the official residence, but the security guard denied it.

On January 14th, Jinshi Data reported that, according to Yonhap News Agency, the Korean Supreme Prosecutors' Office for High-ranking Officials (Public Prosecutors' Office) announced on the 14th that personnel from the Army Capital Defense Command's 55th Guard approved by the Public Prosecutors' Office and other law enforcement agencies entered the presidential residence while executing President Yoon Suk-yeol's detention order. The Presidential Security Service stated that the reports regarding the 55th Guard approving law enforcement personnel to enter the residence are not true. The Ministry of National Defense also stated that the 55th Guard's response that they 'approved entry' does not match the facts. The 55th Guard only stated at the time that they do not have the authority to independently approve external personnel to enter and that final approval from the Presidential Security Service is required.
