The capital of North Darfur State, Sudan, was attacked, resulting in 25 deaths.

Jinshi data news on August 28th, Sudan's North Darfur state government officials said on the 27th that the Sudan Rapid Support Forces shelled the state capital, Fashir, on the 26th, killing 25 people and injuring about 30. Ibrahim Abdullah Hater, Minister of Health of North Darfur State, stated on the 27th that the Sudan Rapid Support Forces shelled Fashir for about 4 hours on the evening of the 26th, with 4 shells hitting a market in the Abu Shouk refugee camp in the north of the city, causing 25 deaths and about 30 injuries. The injured have been taken to nearby health centers and hospitals for treatment.
