According to reports from Syrian Sham Radio and Lebanese media, there were multiple explosions in the direction of the Al-Omar oil and gas field in Deir ez-Zor province, eastern Syria, from late night on the 27th to early morning on the 28th local time. This oil and gas field is illegally occupied by the US military. Sham Radio reported that this is the third attack in the region in the past 48 hours. Lebanese media reported that after the incident, US military planes and helicopters flew over the oil and gas field and the nearby area of the illegal US military base.
