Russian President Putin: Has received the U.S. proposal to resolve the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Russia is willing to negotiate.

According to Golden Finance, Russian President Putin stated at the meeting of the Permanent Committee of the Federation Council that prior to the meeting between the Russian and American leaders in Anchorage, both sides had discussed the peace plan for Ukraine proposed by Trump. Putin mentioned that he has received the “28-point plan” proposed by the U.S. to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict. He stated that the U.S. proposed solution to the Ukraine issue (i.e., the “28-point plan”) has not yet been publicly discussed and only the overall framework has been touched upon. During the Anchorage talks, Russia agreed to show flexibility on the resolution of the Ukraine issue. After the talks, the U.S. took a pause, which is related to Ukraine's refusal. Putin expressed that Russia is willing to engage in peace negotiations, but this requires substantial discussion of all the details of the plan.
