South Korean conservatives promise to implement Trump-style monetary policy in presidential campaign.

PANews reported on April 16 that according to Yonhap News Agency, Hong Joon-pyo, the presidential primary candidate of South Korea's ruling People's Power Party, promised at a policy forum that he would slash the regulatory requirements for blockchain and cryptocurrency. The conservative candidate said he would follow the Trump administration's regulatory approach in the United States. He pledged to implement blockchain technology in government services while promoting virtual assets as an independent industry.
