Gate to Discontinue Spot Copy Trading Service

Thank you for your continued support and use of Gate's Spot Copy Trading service. To further enhance our core trading experience, we will be adjusting our product offerings and gradually discontinuing the Spot Copy Trading service.

This adjustment is intended to provide a more stable and high-quality service environment. We will ensure that the entire process is carried out smoothly and in an orderly manner, with your assets fully protected throughout. The detailed arrangements are as follows:

Service Discontinuation Schedule

• December 17, 2025, 10:00 (UTC) New applications for Spot Lead Traders will be closed; copiers will no longer be able to establish new copy trading relationships; existing copy trading management and fund transfer functions will remain unaffected.

• December 26–30, 2025 (UTC+8) We will uniformly process the following steps:

  • Automatically terminate all Spot Copy Trading relationships.
  • Cancel all open spot lead trading and copy trading orders.
  • Return all funds related to lead trading and copy trading to your main account's spot account.

• December 30, 2025, 04:00 (UTC) All Spot Copy Trading–related pages will be officially taken offline.

Impact and Important Notes

• For Copy Traders: All your spot copy trading relationships will be terminated. Related assets will be automatically returned to your main account's spot account. You may choose to retain your current assets or sell them according to your own needs.

• For Lead Traders: Your status as a spot lead trader will be revoked, and all copied assets will be returned to your main account's spot account. If you have any unsettled spot copy trading profit sharing, please proactively close (sell) the relevant positions before December 26; the system will then settle them automatically.
