Alchemy Pay (ACH) plans to release the Alchemy Chain testnet in January 2026. Alchemy Pay is a payment and crypto interaction platform, and the launch of this testnet marks a significant milestone in the development of its proprietary blockchain ecosystem. The testnet rollout will enable comprehensive testing and validation of on-chain performance and security, paving the way for the mainnet launch. The Waves project plans to enable instant finality functionality on its mainnet in January 2026. This upgrade, based on the network’s microblock architecture, will enable transaction finality confirmation in approximately 2 seconds. Hedera has published details of its upcoming network upgrades scheduled for 2026. Node operators will have a three-month validation period ahead of the June 2026 consensus node upgrade to version v.0.74.0. The minimum compatible release for this upgrade will be Mirror Node v.0.148.0, planned for February 2026.
