Lately, the more I play on the chain, the more I realize that you shouldn't have too many illusions about privacy. To put it simply, a wallet address isn't an ID card, but it's close enough. If someone really starts to target you, linking on-chain activity with exchange deposits and withdrawals, many so-called "anonymous" claims will only be psychological comfort. My current expectation is: use normally without overcomplicating things, don't treat privacy as a get-out-of-jail-free card, and if you cross the line of compliance, you've crossed it.

Lately, it really feels like watching playback on the blockchain... You stare at the browser/robot push notifications, thinking you're on the front line, but in reality there are nodes, RPCs, indexers, and the entire forwarding chain behind the scenes. If one link gets stuck, what you see is already delayed. Especially during congestion or when some free RPCs are rate-limited, others have already completed their transactions, and you're still spinning.
Does that mean on-chain data is untrustworthy?
Not exactly, it just means the timestamp you see isn't the same as the time you received it.

Lately I've been looking at a bunch of "tags/clusters/funding flow" charts, basically just labeling addresses with personas. It looks pretty cool, but I only trust half of it: the same person split across addresses, using CEX as a bridge, transferring back and forth, and suddenly the profile changes. Especially during the time when the main public blockchain was upgrading and maintenance was happening, everyone was guessing whether projects would migrate. I actually care more about whether the "funds really moved" rather than who gets labeled as whales or smart money... Anyway, I just want my
