7 "DEADLY TRAPS" THAT COULD COST PIONEERS THEIR ENTIRE PI WALLET!

Hey everyone! Remember, your Pi Wallet is Non-custodial. This means anyone who gets their hands on your 24-word seed phrase effectively owns your wallet and all your Pi. Scammers are getting more sophisticated every day—stay sharp and watch out for these tricks!
────────
1. Phishing Websites
Scammers create fake websites that look identical to the official wallet → they trick you into logging in for "Wallet Verification" or "Claiming Free Pi" → once you enter your passphrase, you've handed them the keys to your fortune.
────────
2. "Free Pi Giveaway" or "High-Price Buyout" Scams
They play on greed by promising gifts or buying Pi at "moon" prices → they send a link asking you to "connect your wallet" → in reality, it's just a trap to steal your passphrase.
────────
3. Impersonating Core Team / Admin / Support
Scammers pose as official system staff → they DM you claiming your wallet has an error or needs a "2FA check" → then they ask for your passphrase to "assist" you.
Remember: The Core Team will NEVER DM you to ask for your passphrase!
────────
4. Fake Apps and Malware
Apps on the store may look exactly like Pi Network but are actually malicious clones → once installed, they silently copy your passphrase or take control of your phone data.
────────
5. Payment Request Scams
Bad actors scan the blockchain → they send an unexpected payment request to your wallet → if you don't look closely and hit "Approve," your Pi is automatically transferred to them.
Always double-check every transaction!
────────
6. "Pi Recovery Bots" or "Support Services"
They advertise "magic" bots that can recover lost Pi or unlocked wallets → they demand an upfront fee or your passphrase → then they vanish, leaving you empty-handed.
────────
7. Other Less Common Tactics
Using shady browser extensions → sending phishing emails → or even luring you into P2P trades just to pressure you into revealing your wallet's secret phrase.
────────
HOW TO PROTECT YOUR PI WALLET (MANDATORY)
Never enter your passphrase anywhere except the official wallet. pinet. com (inside the Pi Browser) → This is the only address you can trust.

Write your passphrase on paper and hide it well → do not take photos, save it on your phone, or upload it to the cloud.

Enable Biometrics (Fingerprint/FaceID) and app passcodes → add an extra layer of security to your assets.

Also, free humidifiers may also be stolen.
Anyway, remember one thing: enter your seed phrase only on the Pi app and the official wallet website, and never copy and paste the entire seed phrase at any time!
