Anthropic Restores Claude Code Performance and Resets Subscriber Usage Limits
Anthropic said Claude Code performance problems came from three independent changes across Claude Code, Claude Agent SDK, and Claude Cowork, and Anthropic reset all subscriber usage limits. Anthropic said the issues included a March 4 drop in default reasoning intensity from high to medium, a March 26 cache bug fixed on April 10, and a system prompt change on April 16 that was rolled back on April 20.
