KPI Achieved, MegaETH Schedule TGE Token MEGA April 30, 2026
Real-time Ethereum scaling solution, MegaETH, officially begins a seven-day countdown to the Token Generation Event (TGE) on Thursday (23/4). This activation occurs after the protocol surpasses its first KPI milestone through the launch of 10 ecosystem applications "Mega Mafia" that record real transaction activity on the mainnet.
MegaETH implements an innovative Performance-Based Vesting, where 53.3% of the total supply of 10 billion MEGA tokens is released based on network performance targets, not a fixed schedule. The first target requires 10 incubation applications to process at least 100,000 transactions within 30 days as proof of utility. This strategy aims to mitigate token inflation risks without a strong economic basis.
The MEGA TGE is scheduled to take place next Thursday. MegaETH Foundation also confirms plans to utilize revenue from USDm stablecoin yield to periodically accumulate MEGA tokens, to strengthen the long-term incentive structure for stakeholders.
