Steve Aoki has finally liquidated his Shiba Inu holdings. According to Arkham Intelligence, the producer withdrew all of his SHIB tokens—about 1.78 billion—for roughly $10,340. Yes, the price of the Shiba Inu coin has fallen so much that his multi-year investments have almost disappeared.
I remember, in January 2024, he exchanged 2.2 ETH (then approximately $5,000) for half a billion SHIB. Now, with the same $5,000, you can buy over 850 million tokens—showing how much the Shiba Inu coin has devalued. He transferred the proceeds from the sale to Gemini. Plus, he recently closed his position in Pepe and kept only 5 ETH.
A funny detail—he still holds 7 Bored Ape NFTs, which he bought for $800,000 during the NFT hype. Now, each is worth about $13,800. That’s the situation with the Shiba Inu coin and his other crypto portfolio. Analysts say SHIB could drop even further to 0.0000052. I wonder why he held these positions for so long?
