Gold Financial reports that on April 22, Brazilian President Lula jokingly suggested that the Nobel Peace Prize should be awarded to U.S. President Trump as soon as possible to end all wars. The Brazil Post reported that Lula made the above statement during a speech to reporters while visiting Lisbon, Portugal, on April 21. The newspaper quoted the Brazilian president’s spokesperson as saying: “Every day we see statements from President Trump. I don’t know if it’s a joke, he says he has ended eight wars, but so far he hasn’t received the Nobel Peace Prize. The important thing is that, in order to prevent further wars, the Nobel Peace Prize should be awarded to President Trump as soon as possible.”
