Many people, by the age of thirty, have already "died" spiritually; only in their seventies or eighties are they buried. Because their thinking remains stuck in place, trapped in a fixed and closed cognitive cage, they have never truly broken free, and have never even realized the need to do so. They are unwilling to open their eyes to see the world, nor to see their true selves clearly, like a blind person standing at the edge of an abyss, unaware of the danger. They resist new things and live a monotonous life day after day, gradually becoming accustomed to simple and mechanical repetition, with an increasing dependence on their current environment. Even more frightening is that many people, even in the midst of confusion and doubt, still have no desire to change their situation. Faced with the shackles of life, they would rather endure year after year, living on the edge, lacking the decisiveness and resolve to break free from their bonds and shatter the cage.
