In the latest TechFlow news, LBTC developed by Lombard Finance is now available on Sui, opening up new BTCFi participation opportunities for Sui ecosystem users. LBTC is a yield-bearing liquid stakeToken backed by BTC, aiming to transform BTC from a value store to a productive asset, providing additional income for holders.

Users can now access Lombard’s LBTC on multiple protocols on Sui, including Aftermath, Bluefin, Cetus, NAVI, Suilend, and Turbos, directly minting LBTC on Sui by staking native BTC, and earn profits by participating in lending, providing liquidity, etc. with LBTC. In addition, participating in LBTC deposits on Sui can enjoy additional incentive rewards. This collaboration aims to further enhance Sui’s important position as a BTC financial innovation center.

Earlier, the Sui Foundation announced a partnership with the BTC DeFi protocol Lombard to provide users with Sui on-chain LBTC minting services.
