MakerDAO has confirmed that it will be renamed Sky, with nearly all four entities voting in favor.

BlockBeats news, on November 8th, MakerDAO decided to maintain its recent rebranding and will still be renamed as Sky. Previously, it had been strongly opposed by the public, who believed that the Decentralized Autonomous Organization behind the Algorithmic Stablecoin DAI, which is the oldest and largest Ethereum-based coin, was wasting the industry’s recognition. In the vote, nearly 80% of the voting shares supported retaining ‘Sky as the backend protocol brand’. However, only four entities out of about 20 voting entities accounted for almost all of the voting shares, with each entity having about 20% of the votes, and only one large entity opposed the proposal. 01928374656574839201
