Odaily Planet Daily News OpenAI is disbanding its “AGI Readiness” team, whose members will be reassigned to other teams at OpenAI. The team was previously responsible for assessing OpenAI’s ability to handle increasingly powerful AI technologies and evaluating the world’s readiness for such technologies. It is reported that Miles Brundage, the chief advisor of the AGI Readiness team, announced his resignation in a Substack post. He stated that the main reason for his resignation is that he believes his external research can have a greater impact, the opportunity cost is too high, and he hopes to reduce biases and believes that he has achieved his goals at OpenAI.
