Gate News bot message, the U.S. House Agriculture Committee passed the “Digital Asset Market Transparency Act” (Clarity Act) with a vote of 47 in favor and 6 against.

The bill establishes a regulatory framework for digital assets, clearly distinguishing the regulatory scope of the U.S. SEC and CFTC, while also imposing information disclosure and customer fund segregation requirements on crypto companies. The bill will be merged into a complete proposal for a full vote in the House of Representatives after receiving approval from the House Financial Services Committee.
