We have observed email phishing attempts involving a fake project named Unigate Token (UGTT) with subject line “(Gate) Your Unigate Access Code is Here.” which claims to offer a private sale. Scammers impersonate the official email address (through Email Spoofing) to deceive users into visiting "unigate".cc (note: quotation marks are added to prevent accidental clicks; do not click the link). They then lure users into entering sensitive information such as wallet mnemonic phrases under the pretense of private investment.
We also remind you not to perform any signature or authorization operations through your Web3 wallet under any circumstances, to prevent the risk of asset theft.
We remind all users: Any emails or links related to Unigate Token (UGTT) should be deleted immediately. Please do not click on them. If you have accidentally clicked, there is no need to panic, simply close the page. As long as you did not enter any sensitive information, your assets remain safe.
If you have entered any such information, please contact our official support immediately through support@gate.com for assistance. Gate will never ask for your username, password, mnemonic phrase, or private key under any circumstances. Do not share such information with anyone and stay alert against scams. If you encounter any suspicious situations, please contact our official customer support at any time. The official website is www.gate.com .
