Gate Supports BTG (BTG) Token Migration

According to the official announcement from BTG (BTG), BTG will be migrated to the BTC chain at a 1:1 ratio. Gate will support this migration and provide seamless token migration services for users. If you currently hold BTG (BTG) on Gate, no action is required on your part. However, if you wish to participate in this migration, please ensure you deposit BTG (BTG) before the deposit suspension.

Gate will take the following steps for the migration:

1. Gate will suspend deposits, withdrawals, and trading services for BTG (BTG) at 04:00 (UTC) on February 7, 2025, including the BTG_USDT and BTG_BTC spot trading pairs and quantitative grid trading.
2. Users with ongoing quantitative grid trading for BTG (BTG) should adjust your trading strategies beforehand. Otherwise, the trades will be terminated automatically before 04:00 (UTC) on February 7, 2025.

Please note that after this token migration, the tokenomics of BTG (BTG) changed, and there may be associated with trading risks. We recommend that you carefully review the changes before trading. Gate will no longer support the old BTG (BTG) tokens. The listing time for the new tokens on the BTC chain will be announced separately after Gate completes the listing review. If you wish to participate in this token migration, please deposit BTG (BTG) before the deposit suspension.
