"3x Short ASTER" whale profits partially retracted, Hyperliquid's largest short whale reverses position to go long on ASTER, leading the bullish rally.

BlockBeats News, November 12 — According to HyperInsight monitoring, two addresses labeled as Abraxas Capital (0x5b5) and (0xb83) have continued to increase their long positions in ASTER since yesterday morning, with a total holding value of 8.16 million USD. The average entry prices are 0.99 USD and 1.09 USD, respectively, with a current unrealized profit of 750,000 USD. Among the 12 assets held on these two addresses, all are short positions except for ASTER. The total nominal value of their holdings is approximately 430 million USD, making them the largest short position on Hyperliquid contracts.

Previously, on November 5, Abraxas Capital’s two addresses initiated small long positions in ASTER at around 1.03 USD, with the main address (0x5b5) holding an average price of about 0.91 USD, totaling 2.4 million USD in holdings. Additionally, monitoring shows that the whale (0x9ee), who previously bought ASTER and then significantly increased their short position—referred to as the “3x Short ASTER” whale—remains the top short holder of ASTER contracts on Hyperliquid. As of press time, they have not closed their position, with a current holding of 48.99 million USD, an average price of 1.2 USD, and unrealized profits that have decreased from over 7 million USD at the peak to 2.92 million USD.
