South Korean actress Hwang Jung-eum was sentenced to probation for embezzling approximately 3 million USD from the company to invest in Crypto Assets.

On September 26, according to Decrypt, South Korean actress Hwang Jung-eum was sentenced to two years of probation by the Jeju District Court on Thursday for embezzling $3 million (4.34 billion won) from her personal agency to invest in Crypto Assets. This means that as long as she does not commit another crime within the next four years, she will not have to serve time in prison. The prosecution had previously requested a three-year prison sentence in August, but the judge considered that she had fully repaid the amount and that this was her first offense, along with the fact that she had fully compensated, ultimately granting probation.
