[Financial Times: The UK and US establish a "Future Markets Working Group" to explore cooperation in the regulation of Capital Markets and digital assets] According to the UK "Financial Times", the UK and the US have established a "Future Markets Working Group" aimed at exploring cooperation in the regulation of Capital Markets and digital assets. UK Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves reached an agreement with US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent after talks at Downing Street last week to establish this official working group. The working group will be co-chaired by officials from the UK and US Treasury, including representatives from the regulatory bodies responsible for Capital Market and digital asset oversight in both countries. The working group will focus on short-term and medium-term cooperation options during the development of digital asset legislation and regulatory systems, while aiming to "reduce the cross-border financing burden for British and American companies." The working group will submit a recommendation report within 180 days.
