**Animecoin (ANIME) has announced the details for a billion-token airdrop.

Animecoin, a cryptocurrency project supported by Arbitrum and Azuki NFT series, announced the tokenomic structure of ANIME, which is planned to be launched on Ethereum and Arbitrum networks this month.

Animecoin announced that it aims to create a blockchain ecosystem that supports anime culture.

According to the announcement on Sunday, **50.5%) of the total supply of 10 billion tokens will be reserved for the community. Of this amount, 37.5% will be allocated to the Azuki NFT community, while 13% will be allocated to "community development". The community development fund was designed to be managed by AnimeDAO in an effort to support community initiatives.

Azuki's founder and Zagabond (pseudonym) Alex Xu, in his statement in June, emphasized that the general experience of anime culture has a fragmented structure and a lack of a platform that brings it all together under one roof.
