Strategy Holds 815,061 BTC, Overtaking IBIT as Largest Bitcoin Holder
Strategy now holds 815,061 BTC after buying 34,164 BTC for roughly $2.54 billion between April 14 and April 20, putting it ahead of BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust at about 806,178 BTC. Alex Thorn of Galaxy Digital said Strategy could surpass Satoshi Nakamoto’s estimated 1.096 million BTC within the next 2 years, and Galaxy’s model points to November 2026 if the pace continues. Peter Schiff criticized the company’s STRC funding structure, while Michael Saylor said BTC needs 2.05% annual appreciation to cover preferred stock dividends indefinitely.
