Mexico launches anti-dumping investigation on Chinese thermal paper rolls

According to the China Trade Remedies Information Network, on April 20th, the Mexican Ministry of Economy issued an announcement that, in response to a petition from Mexican manufacturer Papeles y Conversiones de México, S.A. de C.V., an anti-dumping investigation has been initiated on thermal paper rolls originating from China (Spanish: rollos de papel térmico convertidos). The dumping investigation period is from August 1, 2024, to July 31, 2025, and the injury investigation period is from August 1, 2022, to July 31, 2025. The TIGIE tariff codes for the involved products are 4809.90.99 and 4811.90.99. The announcement takes effect the day after its publication.
