Aave Funds Continue to Flow Out, Total Deposits Drop to $30.7 Billion

On April 22, according to on-chain analyst Yu Jin, Aave has experienced a continuous outflow of funds due to the impact of the rsETH incident. The total deposits on Aave have decreased from $48.5 billion to $30.7 billion, with approximately $15.1 billion flowing out in just three and a half days, representing a loss of nearly one-third. Meanwhile, other mainstream lending platforms have shown mixed performance: Morpho’s total deposits fell from $11.7 billion before the incident to $10.2 billion, with an outflow of about $1.5 billion. In contrast, Spark’s SparkLend business saw its TVL rise from $1.9 billion before the incident to $3.2 billion, an increase of about $1.3 billion. Spark has attracted some of the whales and institutional funds that withdrew from Aave, including Justin Sun and a whale who previously invested $500 million in February this year.
