Guys, I just found out that CoW Swap has suspended operations due to a DNS attack on their website. How is this even possible in 2026? You would think a decentralized protocol, everything on the blockchain, would be immune, but it’s suffering from a simple traffic redirect to a fake site. The attack happened during the day, and the team immediately warned users not to access the interface until they sort out the situation. Interestingly, the protocol’s infrastructure itself is not compromised — that’s the main thing. But they still shut everything down as a precaution. Overall, this shows why DeFi is still vulnerable at the front end. People rely on web interfaces, and hackers exploit that. CoW operates as an aggregator, collecting liquidity and using this matching mechanism for fair execution. The main features are minimizing slippage and protecting against MEV. And then, suddenly, the frontend went down. The team is actively working on restoring it and asks users not to touch the service until they give the green light. These are the latest news from the world of decentralized finance.
