The Israel Defense Forces issued a statement saying that over the past day, the Israeli Air Force, supported by intelligence agencies, carried out multiple airstrikes in Tehran, the capital of Iran, as well as in the southern city of Shiraz and the western city of Awaş, targeting various infrastructure. The statement said that in Shiraz, the IDF struck an underground facility believed to be used for the production and storage of ballistic missiles. In Tehran, the IDF claimed to have attacked a key base of Iran’s air defense system and several supporting facilities. Meanwhile, the IDF also targeted multiple locations believed to be involved in the production of weapons, air defense systems, and ballistic missile components. In Awaş, the IDF struck command centers of several Iranian agencies, including the ground forces command center of the Revolutionary Guard and a central command center of domestic security forces.
