Tonify Kidney Qi | Deep and Stable Root

When kidney qi is sufficient, the root is established, so there is no fear.
The kidney is the foundation of congenital essence, stores essence and governs bones, and is connected to the ears. When kidney qi is abundant, the waist and legs are strong and healthy, hearing is sharp, and one has steadiness in facing matters.

Practice Method: Heel Breathing Method + Collecting the Valley Path

1. Posture: Stand upright, feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent
2. Breathing: When inhaling, toes grip the ground, intention and qi flow from the Yongquan point at the sole, rising along the back of the leg to the waist
When exhaling, gently lift the anus (collecting the Valley Path), and qi sinks into the Dantian
3. Key point: Always focus attention on the rise and fall of the heels (heels)
4. Consonant: Coordinate with the pronunciation of “chuī” (吹) for inhalation and exhalation (deep and long)
5. Duration: Practice 5-10 minutes daily between 5-7 pm

Heel breathing can guide qi downward, consolidate the foundation, and nurture the original vitality. The anus lifting movement directly exercises the pelvic floor muscles, massages the kidneys, improves lower back soreness and cold sensitivity, and enhances the primal life force.

Daily Maintenance

Sleep early to nourish kidney yin during the Hai hour, often accompanied by black beans and sesame
Do not look at shock or fright to avoid damaging kidney essence; warm the lower back in winter to keep warm

Precautions: Night practice should not be excessive to avoid disturbance of yang qi affecting sleep. Those with severe kidney deficiency should proceed gradually.
