Abstract generation in progress

To help vehicle owners better understand recall information and protect consumers’ legal rights, the General Administration of Market Regulation has released the newly revised “Automobile Recall User Guide (2026 Edition).”
The new guide particularly adds a section called “Interpretation of Recall News and Announcements,” providing clear guidance for vehicle owners to read recall notices.
Owners should verify the recalled vehicle models and production dates, and determine whether their vehicle falls within the scope of the recall based on the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
If in doubt, they can call the manufacturer’s service hotline or consult with the 4S dealership.
Owners should pay close attention to the potential consequences of the defect and the emergency response methods, and complete the recall repairs as soon as possible to eliminate vehicle safety hazards. (CCTV News)
