The three major indices of the A-shares market all closed higher today, with the Shanghai Composite up 0.06%, the Shenzhen Component up 0.69%, the ChiNext Index up 0.8%, and the Beijing Securities 50 slightly up 0.04%.
The total trading volume across both markets was 2.1631 trillion yuan, a decrease of 174.5 billion yuan compared to the previous day, with over 2,300 individual stocks rising.
In terms of sectors, energy metals, oil and gas, pork, CPO, electricity, military industry, and automobiles led the gains; while gaming, traditional Chinese medicine, insurance, education, and precious metals sectors lagged.
