Recently, I tried out a few friend-making apps, but honestly, there are so many options that I can’t decide which one is best. Since there are a lot of apps made exclusively for women, they’re probably easier for women who are looking for same-sex friends to choose.

Apps that are specialized specifically for making friends, like Touch or Favomatch, are great because their purpose is easier to align, so there’s less wasted time. Favomatch is specialized in finding friends for idol-supporting activities, so it’s interesting how quickly you can connect with people who are doing the same kind of idol-supporting.

On the other hand, there are also apps like Bumble that let you switch between dating and making friends, so this might be easier for men to use because they can also look for friends of the opposite sex. The fact that the fees are low is also appealing. doteMatch and tipsys have robust search functions, so it’s convenient to narrow down potential matches by your weekends or hobbies.

However, if you prioritize safety, you should choose an app that has a 24-hour monitoring system. Touch and Bumble also handle identity verification properly, so you can feel reassured about that. For older audiences, there are apps like Somuri (Somuri) that target people in their 30s to 50s, and if you want golf friends, there’s GolWho. I think the right answer is to choose an app that fits your purpose.
