Recently, there will be two rounds of rainfall in the southern region, with many areas in Jiangnan experiencing significant accumulated rainfall.

Today (April 7), rainfall in the south will briefly weaken, but in the southern part of the Yangtze River region and many places in South China, heavy rain will still persist. Over the next two days, as the subtropical high moves northward, the main rainband will shift north to the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. It is expected that before mid-April, two more rounds of rainfall will follow in succession; in many areas of the Yangtze River region, cumulative rainfall amounts will be relatively large, so people should be alert to secondary disasters such as landslides and mudslides.
