Alchemy launches AgentPay, aiming to enable cross-protocol interoperability in AI payment systems
Biquan Network news: According to CoinDesk, Web3 infrastructure provider Alchemy has announced the launch of a new tool, AgentPay, aiming to break down interoperability barriers between the AI payment systems of multiple organizations, including Coinbase, Stripe, Visa, Mastercard, and Circle. At present, emerging agent payment systems generally face issues of not being able to work with each other. If merchants want to integrate AI agents as customers, they must independently develop and integrate for each underlying protocol such as x402, MPP, A2P, or L402. AgentPay addresses this pain point by acting as an intermediary translation layer. Merchants only need to register their existing APIs with the Alchemy system to obtain a dedicated endpoint, thereby allowing any AI agent on a supported protocol to complete payments through that endpoint, and Alchemy does not come into contact with any real funds during this instruction routing process. AgentPay has now begun a pilot soft launch, and is expected to be officially released to the public within the next few weeks.
