Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Recently, three Chinese ships have transited through the Strait of Hormuz.

At a regular press conference where questions were answered on the 31st, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said that, after coordinating with relevant parties, three Chinese vessels recently transited the Strait of Hormuz, and that we are grateful for the assistance provided by the relevant parties. The Strait of Hormuz and waters nearby are an important international passageway for cargo and energy trade. China calls for an immediate ceasefire and end to hostilities, and for restoring peace and stability in the Gulf region. (Xinhua News Agency)
