On April 8, according to CCTV News, the Supreme National Security Council of Iran congratulated the Iranian people on their victory in a statement made on April 8 local time. The statement claimed that the United States has committed in principle to fulfill the following obligations: · Guarantee no further military actions; · Acknowledge Iran’s continued control over the Strait of Hormuz; · Accept Iran’s uranium enrichment activities; · Lift all first and second-level sanctions; · Terminate all relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and the International Atomic Energy Agency; · Compensate for damages caused to Iran; · Withdraw US combat forces from the region; · Cease all military operations on all fronts.
