According to DAST transportation data, during the 2026 spring break and Qingming Festival, civil aviation will operate a total of 88.7k passenger flights over 6 days, averaging 12,675 flights per day, representing a 1.4% increase year-on-year compared to 2025, and a 5.3% increase compared to 2019. In terms of time periods, the first three days of Qingming saw a 1.9% year-on-year increase and a 6.7% increase compared to 2019; during the Qingming holiday, the increase was 0.9% year-on-year and 3.9% compared to 2019. The growth during the Qingming holiday is lower than that during spring break.During the 2026 spring break and Qingming Festival, civil aviation passenger transport volume reached 12.09 million (including only domestic airline data), a 5.3% increase year-on-year.
