Wu Says learns that the U.S. law firm Gibbs Mura has announced the initiation of a potential class-action investigation into the April 1st hack of Drift Protocol, involving approximately $280 million. The investigation focuses on whether Circle failed to take timely freezing measures during the attacker’s cross-chain transfer of over $230 million USDC via CCTP. The law firm states it is collecting information from affected investors and assessing whether to file claims against Circle for not taking intervention actions.
