A-shares unusual movement | Scientific research positive news triggers sodium-ion concept stocks, with multiple stocks including Blue Lithium Core hitting the daily limit
A-share market sodium-ion concept stocks rose collectively strongly. Among them, Gfblue Lithium, ChuanYi Technology, and GaoLe Shares hit the 10CM daily limit; Xiongtao Shares rose by more than 8%; LianDe Equipment rose by more than 7%; Quzhou Dongfeng rose by more than 6%; Meilian New Materials, Penghui Energy, Zhenhua New Materials, and Sanyou Chemical rose by more than 5%; Huayang Shares, Shengyang Shares, Qicai Chemical, Weike Technology, Easel Technology, and Dechuang Environmental Protection rose by more than 4%.
In the news, on April 6, a team led by Hu Yongsheng from the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, published a major achievement in Nature Energy: the team successfully developed a self-protecting polymerizable non-flammable electrolyte (PNE). This is the first time globally that it thoroughly blocks thermal runaway in an ampere-hour-class sodium-ion battery. The team broke the traditional belief that “flame-retardant electrolytes equal safety,” moved beyond a single line of defense, and built an intelligent safety protection system featuring a three-in-one approach: “thermal stability—interface stability—physical isolation.” When the battery temperature abnormally rises above 150°C, the PNE automatically transitions from liquid to solidified form into a dense barrier, like building an “intelligent firewall” inside the battery, completely cutting off the propagation path of thermal runaway.
