International Atomic Energy Agency: Now is not the time to consider resuming US-Iran nuclear negotiations.

On the 18th, local time, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, said that amid the ongoing military conflict, Iran is unlikely to return to nuclear negotiations with the United States. Grossi said that before the United States stops its military actions against Israel and Iran’s retaliatory actions, “it is not the time to consider resuming talks.” He said, “As long as military action is still underway, I don’t think there will be any negotiations.” Grossi previously took part in some stages of the last round of U.S.-Iran talks, brokered by Oman and held in Geneva, Switzerland, which took place shortly before the outbreak of war.
