Beijing: Annual urban renewal investment to exceed 300 billion yuan by 2030

On April 8, the full text of the “Beijing Municipal Plan Outline for the 15th Five-Year Period for National Economic and Social Development” was released to the public. It mentions that during the “15th Five-Year” period, efforts will be made to vigorously carry out urban renewal, treating urban renewal as a key direction and important driving force for urban construction and development. The plan will emphasize the overall and systematic nature of urban renewal, improve a categorized implementation mechanism guided by needs and led by projects, and bring annual investment in urban renewal to more than 300 billion yuan by 2030.
