Ask AI · How will Middle East geopolitical conflicts affect international oil prices rising?

Kuai Technology April 7 news: Domestic fuel prices will be adjusted on the first working day after the Qingming Festival holiday. At 24:00 on April 7, the domestic refined oil pricing adjustment window will open.

Affected by the recent continued surge in international oil prices, multiple institutions expect the increase in refined oil prices to be about 350 yuan/ton, which is about a 0.3 yuan/liter increase. Jinlianchuang data shows that for a private car with a 50-liter fuel tank, filling it up will cost 15 yuan more.

If oil prices are raised again, it will be a sixth consecutive increase this year. In the previous round of adjustments, oil prices saw the largest one-time increase in recent years domestically: gasoline rose by 0.87 yuan per liter, and diesel increased by about 0.95 yuan per liter.

After stacking the increases from the six consecutive rises, the average retail price of domestic gasoline No. 92 will come to around 8.7–8.8 yuan per liter, and in many places gasoline No. 95 will break through 9.30 yuan per liter.

Since the start of 2026, gasoline No. 92 has cumulatively risen by nearly 2 yuan per liter. For a 50-liter tank, filling it will cost nearly 100 yuan more than at the start of the year.

Jinlianchuang refined oil analyst Wang Yanting said that in the short term, the Middle East geopolitical conflict is difficult to effectively ease. Under expectations of tight resource supply, international crude oil prices will still mainly fluctuate at high levels, and domestic gasoline and diesel retail prices will remain high. Private car owners can reasonably plan their fuel usage rhythm to avoid increases in travel costs as much as possible.
