Beijing's trade-in policy for consumer goods continues to be implemented, driving sales of approximately 5 billion yuan.

Beijing’s 2026 consumer trade-in subsidy program continues to unleash consumer vitality. This year so far, more than 1.3 million subsidized products have been sold, driving sales of approximately 5 billion yuan. Residents can claim eligibility for the subsidy through the “Jingtong” mini program; when purchasing products such as home appliances, phones, and tablets, they can receive a subsidy of up to 15%. Today, across Beijing, nearly 7,000 stores and more than 1,300 merchants are participating, making the savings more convenient and bringing them into residents’ daily lives. (CCTV)
