Iran refuses to exchange the opening of the strait for "hollow promises"; the situation could spiral out of control, potentially leading to the closure of the Strait of Mandeb.

ME News message, April 7 (UTC+8), says that Pakistan continues to convey information, but the U.S. has not changed its tone. There are currently no negotiations with the United States; the U.S. wants Iran to submit under pressure. When we see the U.S. show flexibility, we will also show flexibility. What the U.S. wants is to reopen the Strait of Hormuz; Iran will not use an open strait to exchange for a false, hollow “promise.” If the U.S. attacks Iran’s power plants, the entire region—and Saudi Arabia as well—will plunge into darkness. Qatar relayed Iran’s position on strikes against power plants to the United States on Monday. If the situation gets out of control, Iran’s allies will also close the Strait of Mandeb.
