Spring Airlines Launches the 2026 Summer and Fall Flight Season at Lanzhou’s Lanzheng Launch: Serving 41 Cities to Broaden the “Air Silk Road” with Affordable Air Travel
As the 2026 summer–autumn flight season approaches, Spring Airlines continues to ramp up capacity deployment in Lanzhou. In the new season, Spring Airlines will serve 41 destinations from Lanzhou, with the number of weekly flights increasing to 526, adding 3 new routes. The planned weekly seat capacity will exceed 90k seats, providing ample capacity assurance for local residents’ travel.
Enhancing the Xinjiang-bound corridors and optimizing domestic and international transfers
In terms of domestic route planning, on March 29, Spring Airlines launched a new Lanzhou–Kuqa route, with 4 flights per week. This route adds another “via Lanzhou” Xinjiang-bound corridor on top of Spring Airlines’ existing 10 Xinjiang-bound routes. Meanwhile, the airline further intensifies service on the Lanzhou–Hohhot–Harbin route, restores the Lanzhou–Dalian and Lanzhou–Changzhou routes, and improves regional accessibility.
To expand the travel radius, Spring Airlines has also rolled out transfer special-offer products. By purchasing tickets through official channels, passengers can enjoy “Flight Change Worry-Free” and up to RMB 200 off. Departing from Lanzhou, with transfers via core hubs such as Shijiazhuang, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, passengers can transfer to multiple domestic destinations including Zhangjiakou, Changbai Mountain, Quanzhou, and Tongliao, as well as popular international destinations such as Phnom Penh, Kuala Lumpur, Chiang Mai, Penang, Jeju Island, and Seoul—achieving “one ticket purchase for an entire journey without worries.”
Precisely segmenting demand and answering the questions of the times through product innovation
For different groups of people, Spring Airlines has introduced differentiated products. The “Fly Whenever You Want” Silver-Haired Annual Pass for those aged 60 and above (RMB 1,999 for unlimited redemptions) is especially popular. Among passengers with bundled tickets, the proportion of seniors aged 60 and above has risen from 4.7% to 17.2%, and some travelers have already used the product for more than 30 flights.
For younger groups, on March 18, Spring Airlines launched the “Fly Whenever You Want” Spring–Summer Bundle Ticket. The single-person version is RMB 1,999, and the parent–child version is RMB 2,999. Passengers can redeem an unlimited number of times for domestic routes (including Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan) operated by Spring Airlines 9C, with validity from March 29, 2026 to June 18. The bundle includes benefits such as free redemption up to 3 days in advance, the ability to refund at any time if unused, and refunding the price difference if you haven’t recouped the value. In addition, ticket buyers who are real-name members can enjoy RMB 10 to RMB 30 off. The “Travel in Off-Peak Hours for a Quiet Treat” activity provides a bundle of RMB 200 discount coupons and a RMB 9 flash-sale money-saving card.
In response to the “pet economy,” Spring Airlines’ pet-in-cabin service has been expanded to 133 routes. Among them, from Lanzhou, passengers can fly to 34 nonstop domestic cities including Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Nanjing, Harbin, and Urumqi. The “Pet-Friendly Triple Seats” layout provides independent, enclosed in-flight space for passengers and their beloved pets.
Empowering with digital capabilities to protect passenger rights
Through the Spring Airlines app or mini program, passengers can experience an AI travel assistant one-stop service that includes intelligent fare comparison, luggage consultation, travel guides, and more. In addition, Spring Airlines has launched the “Ticket Rights Protection Battle.” From now until April 30, if passengers encounter behaviors such as price surcharges on third-party platforms, itinerary tampering, or delayed ticket issuance, they can verify and report through official channels. For the first 100 successful evidentiary cases each natural month, there will be a reward of RMB 500 in equivalent points.
As of the end of 2025, Spring Airlines has a modern fleet of 134 aircraft, operating more than 210 domestic and international routes. International routes cover 8 countries in Southeast Asia and Northeast Asia. The airline transports over 33 million passengers per year, with an average load factor of nearly 91%. The comprehensive upgrade of the summer–autumn flight season in Lanzhou is a vivid illustration of Spring Airlines’ original aspiration to “make it possible for everyone to afford to fly.”
