**Opinion Network News: ** On April 7, Sun Hung Kai Properties, led by Sun Hung Kai Properties, kicked off the second round of open sales for Phase I of Wai Tsui Bay in Sunrise City, Tseung Kwan O, Tuen Mun. The offering involves 168 units. Market news indicates that as of 2:00 p.m., all units in this batch had been sold out.
The units being offered include 4 one-bedroom units, 136 two-bedroom units, and 28 two-bedroom units with adjoining study rooms. After deducting a 15% maximum discount, the lock-in prices range from HK$5.752 million to HK$8.917 million, with a lock-in price per square foot ranging from HK$14,697 to HK$18,444.
According to the introduction, Wai Tsui Bay I is jointly developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties, Kerry Construction, Gaw Wah International, China Merchants Land, and MTR Corporation. The project’s first round was launched on April 1, offering 254 units, which were sold out on the same day. The amount cashed in on a single day exceeded HK$1.8 billion. Together with units sold via tender, a total of 363 units have been sold so far, with cash proceeds exceeding HK$3.4 billion.
